About this list

This page contains a list of core educational technology tools that are funded and supported at UAS, which…

  • are technology tools for teaching, learning, and productivity.

  • are supported by CELT via training and documentation.

  • are vetted by OIT for accessibility and data security.

  • can be used by all UAS faculty and staff at no cost.

  • are, in many cases, also available to students at no cost.

Here at CELT, we primarily know about educational technology for teaching and learning. To find out more about all technology at UAS, especially student-focused technology, please visit the UAS IT helpdesk instead or  this guide for students from Student Support Services.

The tools listed on this page are the core ed tech tools at UAS that require no action from faculty or staff to be approved other than signing in, usually through email or single sign-on unless otherwise noted. For a more complete list of tools that are approved through OIT for use at the University of Alaska, see the UA software catalog

You can also use this link to request that additional software be approved. Contact  [email protected]  with any questions about this process.
